Headman of Kharta, with his wife and son

The Headman or Governor of Kharta, with his wife and son. On meeting the Governor, the 1921 team asked to rent a house, so that they could have a store-room and set up a darkroom. A house was located with a pleasant garden of poplars and willows and they were charged one trangka a day.
