Telegram of Mallory and Irvine's death

This is Edward F. Norton's coded telegram, which was sent from Base Camp at Rongbuk by runner to Phari Dzong, from where it was relayed to London and arrived on 19th June 1924.

It reads:-

This translates as "Mallory and Irvine killed in last engagement, arrived here, all in good order".
