The ant like figures in this photograph, emphasise the scale of the task ahead. Captain John B. Noel was referred to as 'St. Noel of the Cameras' by General Bruce, leader of the expedition. John Noel photographed and filmed both the 1922 and 1924 expeditions to Everest.
